Cefn Uchaf Farm Guest House and Self Catering Cottage

Cefn Uchaf Farm Guest House and Self Catering CottageA warm welcome awaits you at Cefn Uchaf. Translated as 'the highest ridge', Cefn Uchaf is a family run farm Guest house set in beautiful open countryside overlooking the timeless splendour of Snowdonia's Cwm Pennant Valley.

Cefn Uchaf is situated in a perfect position to enable you to explore the Llyn Peninsula, an area of remote and natural beauty with miles of empty sandy beaches and coves. Discover this, the ancient land of Celts with its legacy of myths, legends and centuries old culture.

Away from the coast the rugged splendour of the Snowdonia National Park awaits you, and Mount Snowdon is only a short drive away. If you would like to see the wonderful panoramic view from the summit of Wales' highest peak, choose from a variety of walks or for a less energetic trip to the top, take a ride on the Snowdon Mountain Railway.

Cefn Uchaf is just four miles from the tranquil seaside town of Criccieth with its 13th century castle and award winning beaches. Only a short drive away is the town of Porthmadog, home to The Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland narrow gauge railways. Just outside Porthmadog is the Italianate Village of Portmeirion, with its wonderful gardens and architecture, made famous by the cult TV series 'The Prisoner'. 15 miles to the north lies the town of Caernarfon with its magnificent 13th century castle, the scene of the Investiture of Prince Charles as Prince of Wales in 1969.
